New York High School Softball - Afton bounces Unatego

The Afton Knights softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Unatego Spartans to 4 in the Knights league win on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sidney for a Section 4 Midstate I battle on Tuesday, May 6. Afton will confront a Team team coming off a 24-8 non-league win over Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Team record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Unatego moves to 1-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY) to confront the Bulldogs in a Section 4 Midstate I battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 5-2.
