New York High School Softball - Saranac bounces AuSable Valley

May 1, 2025: Clintonville, NY 12924

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY) and the host AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), observed Saranac's softball team prevail over AuSable Valley by a tally of 8-0.

The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Moriah (Port Henry, NY). The Vikings go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Moriah was routed by Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY), 19-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout, on Monday, May 5. AuSable Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY).
