The Thousand Islands Vikings softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Belleville Henderson Central Panthers to 0 in the Vikings league win on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to General Brown for a non-league battle on Friday, May 2. Thousand Islands will confront a Lions team coming off a 30-0 non-league win over Watertown (Watertown, NY). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Belleville Henderson Central moves to 0-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lyme Central (Chaumont, NY) to confront the Lakers in a Section 3 Frontier D battle on Monday, May 12. The Lakers come into the battle with a record of 0-3.
