In Thursday's league match, the visiting Boonville Pioneers softball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Tell City Marksmen.

The Pioneers (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN). The Braves go into the Pocket match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Tecumseh gained a win over South Warren (Bowling Green, KY), 2-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Marksmen battle the Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) in a Pocket match, on Tuesday, May 6. Tell City will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Rangers go into the match with a 4-9 record after their 21-6 league loss to North Posey (Poseyville, IN).
