The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Buckeye Central Bucks (New Washington, OH) and the visiting Vanlue Wildcats (Vanlue, OH), observed Buckeye Central's softball team prevail over Vanlue by a tally of 17-3.

The Bucks (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Big Red go into the non-league bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Plymouth was routed by St. Paul (Norwalk, OH), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) in a Blanchard Valley bout, on Monday, May 5. Vanlue will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH).
