The Genesee Valley Jaguars triumphed over the host Hammondsport Lakers softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars play the Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Genesee Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 16-2 non-league win over Hammondsport (Hammondsport, NY).
The Lakers (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Jasper-Troupsburg (Jasper, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
