Washington High School Softball - Peninsula tipped by Gig Harbor

The Gig Harbor Tides the visiting Peninsula Seahawks softball squad by a count of 7-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tides meet the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 3A Pierce County challenge, on Friday, May 2. Gig Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 20-15 league loss to Lincoln (Tacoma, WA).

The Seahawks (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Blazers go into the 3A South Sound challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Timberline by North Thurston (Lacey, WA), 16-15, in a league challenge.
