In Thursday's non-league test, the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mountain Home Bombers (Mountain Home, AR), by a count of 6-1.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a 5A East test, on Tuesday, May 6. Greene County Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 18-9 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Bauxite (Bauxite, AR).

The Bombers (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Alma (Alma, AR). The Airedales go into the 5A West test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Alma was routed by Northside (Fort Smith, AR), 15-5, in a non-league test.
