Delaware High School Softball - Indian River bounces Sussex Central

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Indian River Indians softball team scored a nice 16-3 win over the Sussex Central Golden Knights.
The Indians (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Delmar (Delmar, DE). The Wildcats come into the Henlopen South match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Delmar notched a victory over Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE), 5-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Golden Knights battle the Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) in a Henlopen North match, on Tuesday, May 6. Sussex Central will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Riders come into the match with a 2-10 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Lake Forest (Felton, DE).
