The Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) softball routed the visiting Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), 29-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menomonie for a non-league outing on Friday, May 2. Superior will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 6-4 league win over River Falls (River Falls, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Marshall moves to 0-6 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Denfeld (Duluth, MN) to encounter the Hunters in a Lake Superior outing on Monday, May 5. The Hunters come into the outing with a record of 0-7.
