In Thursday's league match, the visiting Pleasant Plains Cardinals softball team scored a tight 7-5 win over the Williamsville Bullets.
The Cardinals (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league match with a 10-11 record. In their last match, Lincolnwood by Pawnee (Pawnee, IL), 6-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bullets battle the Pittsfield/Griggsville-Perry/Pleasant Hill (Pittsfield, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 3. Williamsville will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record.
