In Friday's league bout, the Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Kenton Wildcats (Kenton, OH), by a score of 13-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Holgate Tigers (Holgate, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 2. Defiance will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 8-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Montpelier (Montpelier, OH).

The Wildcats (3-10) will now prepare for their bout against Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH). The Redskins enter the Western Buckeye bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Wapakoneta achieved victory over Shawnee (Lima, OH), 9-2, in a league bout.
