Illinois High School Baseball - MacArthur loses to Riverton

In Friday's non-league bout, the Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), by a tally of 8-1.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) in a Sangamo bout, on Tuesday, May 5. Riverton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record.

The Generals (7-13) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons enter the non-league bout with a 15-8 record. In their last bout, Clinton edged Eureka (Eureka, IL), 9-5, in a non-league bout.
