Colorado High School Baseball - Timnath edges Mead

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) and the host Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO), saw Timnath's baseball team gain a win over Mead by a tally of 9-7.

The Cubs (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Impalas enter the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Poudre held off Northridge (Greeley, CO), 18-3, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Mavericks encounter the Fairview Knights (Boulder, CO) in a 5A/4A Granite Peaks bout, on Saturday, May 2. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 12-6 record after their 10-8 league win over Holy Family (Broomfield, CO).
