Salem Blue Devils (Salem, NH) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Spaulding Red Raiders (Rochester, NH), 5-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Salem improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Concord (Concord, NH) to play the Crimson Tide in a Division I game on Monday, May 4. The Crimson Tide enter the game with a record of 9-2. Concord won 21-6 in their recent league bout against Nashua North (Nashua, NH)

In their next game, the Red Raiders clash with the Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) in a Division I bout, on Monday, May 4. Spaulding will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Astros go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Merrimack (Merrimack, NH).
