The Churubusco Eagles softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Lakewood Park Christian Panthers to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Churubusco improves its record to 6-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a Northeast Corner game on Tuesday, May 11. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 12-7. Prairie Heights lost 4-3 in their recent league game against Central Noble (Albion, IN)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 11. Lakewood Park Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Cadets come into the game with a 7-11 record after their 20-0 league win over Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN).
