The Field Kindley Golden Tornado baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Baxter Springs Lions to 1 in the Golden Tornado non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Tornado (3-13) will now prepare for their match against Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Cherryvale tipped Erie (Erie, KS), 23-9, in a non-league match.
The Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Galena (Galena, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 3-5 record.
