Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ojai Valley Spuds (Ojai, CA), 30-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hueneme upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Cornerstone Christian (Wildomar, CA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 21-8. Cornerstone Christian won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA)

With the defeat, Ojai Valley falls to 15-4 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2022 CIF Southern Section Baseball Championships (California) - Division VII tournament
