The North Putnam Cougars (Roachdale, IN) baseball nipped the host Indian Creek Braves (Trafalgar, IN), 8-7 in Tuesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 12. North Putnam will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 16-6 record after their 11-2 league win over South Vermillion (Clinton, IN).
