In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Prairie Central Hawks.
The Railsplitters (13-9) will now prepare for their game against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 14-14 record. In their last game, Pleasant Plains was overwhelmed by Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Hawks (7-19) will now prepare for their game against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans go into the Illini Prairie game with a 10-12 record. In their last game, Olympia tipped Illini Central (Mason City, IL), 16-0, in a non-league game.
