Minnesota High School Baseball - New Ulm Cathedral holds off Loyola

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) and the host Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN), saw New Ulm Cathedral's baseball squad knock off Loyola by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Greyhounds play the Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) in a Tomahawk battle, on Friday, May 13. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record.

The Crusaders now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madelia for a Valley battle on Thursday, May 12. Loyola will play a Blackhawks squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Cleveland (Cleveland, MN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 9-3.
