In Tuesday's league game, the host Monticello Sages baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Rantoul Eagles.
The Sages (17-7) will now prepare for their game against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record.
The Eagles (2-15) will now prepare for their game against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers go into the non-league game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, St. Thomas More overcame Mattoon (Mattoon, IL), 8-6, in a non-league game.
