In Tuesday's non-league game, the host North Schuylkill Spartans baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders.
The Spartans (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Danville (Danville, PA). The Ironmen go into the non-league game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Danville was edged by Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 7-1, in a league game.
