North Carolina High School Baseball - Northwest Guilford gets by Watauga

May 10, 2022: Greensboro, NC 27409

Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), 8-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northwest Guilford upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Rams come into the test with a record of 19-6. T.C. Roberson won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

With the defeat, Watauga falls to 16-9 on the season.
