North Carolina High School Baseball - Pinecrest defeats South View

May 10, 2022: Southern Pines, NC 28387

Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pinecrest upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Patriots host Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, May 12. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 14-8. Richmond won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Cleveland (Clayton, NC)

With the defeat, South View falls to 14-10 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2022 NCHSAA Baseball Championships - 4A tournament
