Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Polytech upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season.
With the defeat, Wilmington Friends falls to 5-7 on the season. The Quakers host Concord (Wilmington, DE) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, May 12. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 6-3.
