Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 12. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 19-15 season record. The Padres come into the match with a 20-15 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA).

With the loss, Independence drops to 19-8 on the campaign.
