The Verona Wildcats lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting DeForest Norskies to 3 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Watertown (Watertown, WI). The Goslings go into the Madison Area match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Watertown was overwhelmed by Madison Regents [West/Edgewood] (Madison, WI), 12-1, in a league match.
The Norskies (2-12) will now prepare for their match against Oconomowoc (Oconomowoc, WI). The Raccoons go into the Classic-8 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Oconomowoc was overwhelmed by Brookfield East/Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI), 12-11, in a league outing.
