In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Narragansett Mariners lacrosse squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Wheeler Warriors.
The Mariners now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pilgrim for a Division 3 test on Thursday, May 12. Narragansett will face a Patriots squad coming off a 11-5 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 11-0.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Monday, May 16. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 7-6 league loss to Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI).
