In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) softball team overwhelmed the host Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT), by a margin of 14-0.
With the triumph, Shepaug Valley moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Spartans host Immaculate (Danbury, CT) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Friday, May 13. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 7-7. Immaculate lost 4-2 in their recent league contest against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT)
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT) in a Connecticut Tech contest, on Wednesday, May 11. Abbott RVT will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 23-0 non-league loss to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT).
