The Altamont Indians softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Dieterich Movin Maroons to 1 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Altamont improves its record to 9-18 on the year. The Indians travel to Farina South Central (Farina, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a National Trail game on Thursday, May 12. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 17-10. Farina South Central lost 12-0 in their recent non-league game against Salem (Salem, IL)

In their next game, the Movin Maroons clash with the Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 12. Dieterich will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 1-10 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Vandalia (Vandalia, IL).
