Archbishop Ryan Raiders (Philadelphia, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA), 6-5 in a league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 4-4 record.
With the loss, Archbishop Carroll falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
