Butte Bulldogs (Butte, MT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bozeman Hawks (Bozeman, MT), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Gallatin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Butte will battle a Raptors squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Billings West (Billings, MT). The Raptors record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Bozeman falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Great Falls (Great Falls, MT) to battle the Bison in a AA Eastern challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. Great Falls lost 16-14 in their recent league challenge against Skyview (Billings, MT)
