Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pinconning Spartans (Pinconning, MI), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Pioneers now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shepherd for a Jack Pine challenge on Thursday, May 12.

With the loss, Pinconning falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Powers Catholic (Flint, MI) to face the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 3-10.
