Northtown Pumas (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros (Chicago, IL), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pumas now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Amundsen for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Northtown will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Cristo Rey Jesuit falls to 4-5 on the campaign.
