In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans softball team scored a nice 10-2 win over the Danville Vikings.
Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) in a Illini Prairie outing, on Thursday, May 12. St. Joseph-Ogden will attempt to upgrade on its 23-8 season record. The Rockets enter the outing with a 20-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL).
The Vikings (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Ironmen enter the Big Twelve outing with a 13-10 record. In their last outing, Normal Community was routed by Olympia (Stanford, IL), 11-9, in a non-league outing.
