In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) softball team overwhelmed the host Dover Senators (Dover, DE), by a margin of 9-1.
With the triumph, Indian River moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 12. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 2-3.
In their next game, the Senators play the Ursuline Academy Raiders (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 13. Dover will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
