The Elkmont Red Devils softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Holly Pond Broncos to 0 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Red Devils (18-12) will now prepare for their battle against Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 20-11 record. In their last battle, Oakman was routed by Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
The Broncos now possess a 14-13 record. They play next when they host East Lawrence for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 10. Holly Pond will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 18-8 non-league win over Danville (Danville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 18-19.
