The South Colonials softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders to 9 in the Colonials non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, South moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Colonials host Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Thursday, May 12. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 3-2.
In their next game, the Red Raiders play the Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 11. Fitchburg will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record.
