The Galena Pirates softball team (Galena, IL), was routed 12-5 in Tuesday's non-league test with the visiting Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI)

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities test, on Thursday, May 12. Southwestern will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Chieftains enter the test with a 1-1 record after their 6-3 league win over Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).

The Pirates (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Eastland tipped East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL), 5-3, in a non-league test.
