Illinois High School Softball - Galesburg can't hold off Sherrard

The Sherrard Tigers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks to 7 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Sherrard improves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL) to encounter the Titans in a West Central Conference - North test on Thursday, May 12. The Titans enter the test with a record of 5-15.
The Silver Streaks (2-18) will now prepare for their test against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons enter the Western Big 6 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Moline tipped Normal Community (Normal, IL), 8-5, in a non-league test.
