Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Osseo Orioles (Osseo, MN), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robbinsdale Cooper for a Metro West challenge on Thursday, May 12. Jefferson will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Osseo falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Orioles host Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN) to battle the Falcons in a Northwest Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
