In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Newark Norsemen softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Morris Redskins.

Coming up next, the Norsemen encounter the Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) in a Little Ten outing, on Wednesday, May 11. Newark will attempt to improve on its 24-3 season record. The Huskers enter the outing with a 14-5 record after their 6-5 league loss to Newark (Newark, IL).
