St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Quinta for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. St. Anthony will battle a Blackhawks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over West (Torrance, CA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 22-6.
With the loss, Quartz Hill falls to 19-6 on the campaign.
