Connecticut High School Baseball - Naugatuck defeats Holy Cross

Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), 8-3 in a league test.

With the win, Naugatuck upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Greyhounds host Wolcott (Wolcott, CT) to battle the Eagles in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper test on Monday, May 15. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 12-5.

With the defeat, Holy Cross falls to 12-5 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Kennedy (Waterbury, CT) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, May 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-10. Kennedy lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT)
