The Jacksonville Cardinals baseball team (Jacksonville, NC), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Knights now hold a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williams for a non-league outing on Friday, May 12. Northern Nash will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over South Central (Winterville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-10.
