In Wednesday's league game, the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Marian Catholic Spartans.
The Shamrocks (2-15) will now prepare for their game against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs go into the East Suburban Catholic game with a 11-14 record. In their last game, Carmel was overwhelmed by Marist (Chicago, IL), 10-1, in a league game.
The Spartans (13-13) will now prepare for their game against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Bengals go into the non-league game with a 20-6 record. In their last game, Oak Forest tipped Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 11-9, in a league game.
