The Evanston Wildkits got by the visiting Maine South Hawks lacrosse team by a final score of 12-11 in Wednesday's league match.
With the win, Evanston betters its record to 9-3 on the season. The Wildkits host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Corsairs go into the match with a record of 7-10. Carmel lost 19-0 in their recent non-league match against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
With the defeat, Maine South drops to 8-7 on the season. The Hawks travel to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL) to play the Warriors in a Central Suburban match on Friday, May 12. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 7-9. Deerfield won 17-5 in their recent league match against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL)
