The McCutcheon Mavericks softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Cathedral Fighting Irish to 2 in the Mavericks league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, McCutcheon improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, IN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, May 12. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 10-5. Lebanon 6-6 in their recent league game against Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN)

In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the Zionsville Eagles (Zionsville, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 12. Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
