Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT), 9-6 in a league battle.

The Golden Eagles now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Springville for a 5A Region 9 match on Friday, May 12. Maple Mountain will play a Red Devils team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-8.

With the defeat, Spanish Fork drops to 6-7 on the season. The Dons host Payson (Payson, UT) to play the Lions in a 5A Region 9 match on Friday, May 12. The Lions go into the match with a record of 6-11. Payson lost 5-3 in their recent league match against Salem Hills (Salem, UT)
